1. General housewifery.
I'm enjoying cooking, sewing and looking after my little baby Kimiko very much at the moment. It's a simple life, quiet and slow, but I like it. I especially like baking buns for my special boys and cooking nice dinners for my mother, sewing my halloween outfit and planning more sewing adventures, and playing chase around the sofa with Kimi. I'd like to point out, for those who don't often read my blog, Kimi is not an actual baby, she is my kitten.
2. Old suitcases and bags.
Okay, so this isn't strictly a current obsession, but an ongoing obsession that I've had for a few years now. I'm a sucker for a battered old suitcase.
3. Growing my hair. Red hair.
I am determined to have longish hair by the summer. I keep telling myself I won't cut it, but I've just trimmed the longer side to even it up a little and now I AM going to let it grow... I keep having dreams that I have long red hair. Red hair is so pretty.
4. Cheerios.
I didn't use to like them, but now I could eat them all day every day. Mmmm-mm!
5. Looking to the future.
After a couple of months of rebelling and not taking my medication and thinking there was nothing really wrong with me, and being very stubborn indeed, I've decided I probably should take it, as I've been ill on and off ever since I stopped. I find this time of year very very difficult, but I think I've come out of that now and I'm trying to be as positive as possible. I'm looking forward to Halloween and Guy Fawkes adventures to Cheltenham and Bristol, and when I get home I'm going to start my Christmas factory. In the new year, I'm hoping to travel to Thailand with a friend (if I have the money..start saving, start selling) and moving into a house with my lifelong friend, William.

I love your blog! Red hair IS so pretty. Mine us really long and blonde but I wish it were dark brown or red. Like a deep red... I could go on:)

5 of my current obsessions would be
1- Silhouettes.
I've only recently come to see the beautiful simplicity to such the minimal art, and I'm simply loving it.
2- Things you can make out of card paper.
I teach kindergarten kids nowadays so I get a chance to do lots of paper crafts with them. We've made trees & flowers & birds & lollipops & we've cut out stars & hearts & things that make me smile endlessly.
3- Radiohead.
This isn't new I tell you. Radiohead's been a big part of me ever since I can remember. But since winter's moving in now, Radiohead on long cold rides at dusk feels excessively pleasing.
4- Honey & lemon tea.
A nice cup of tea & a sit down has always been associated with delight. And when I caught a cold very recently & started drinking my tea with honey & lemon, and discovered that a cup of tea can taste as sour as I like things to be, I've become ever more obsessed about the idea of tea.
5- You.
